This piece was created in response to my A-Level music composition brief; Create a piece of music to be played alongside a light-show that will commemorate 150 years of the Royal Albert Hall. We also had limited instrumentation due to the size of the group performing our pieces. I chose to create this as it mixed a more orchestral/Romantic style with jazz elements, which allows the piece to change from theme to theme representing different styles and decades. I wanted the music to move between different emotions like the changing of lights at the light-show.

Night Drive

I'm 18, a composer, producer and performer going into a degree. I've been composing tracks for about 4 years and I have a lot of experience in performing already. So far I've worked with Peter Davison, Peter Copley, Sir John Tomlinson and Terry Bickers.

I play drums (Grade 8 Distinction), piano and bass. I play in the BESYO orchestra where I am a student leader and tour across Europe.
