'Following his latest contribution to Innervisions Limbo compilation and a personal EP on TAU, Skatman returns to his home of Scatcity Records, offering up his second album Aromanticism.

This eight track collection defines Skatman's current artistic direction as well as his vision for the future of his label and the melodic scene. We see him bring his sound forward as a more minimalistic approach to the deep and melodic sounds that have shaped him over the years.

Skatman’s mission with this LP is to bring back the integrity to the sound he loves, taking it to a new level and triggering a change of direction within the niche that is melodic electronic music. The name ‘Aromanticism’ is a reference to the revolutionary aspect of the realism movement that happened as a reaction to what dominated art and literature in the age of romanticism in the 19th century.'

Alexander Alar is a well known friend of us who we have the pleasure to welcome on Beatfreak Recordings. He delivered to us 3 strong original tracks between Indie Dance and Afro House in collaboration with another great artists as Indie Elephant, DJ Renat, Katie Pride & the great voice of Yura Baykonur. On a remix duty here we have the team Anturage & Alexey Union who did a great interpretation of the original song Jericho.

Masella and Radoon bring us an ethereal journey with Carlina. Melodics, modulations and all out strong vibes are collected on this 4 tracks strong EP.

We are not easily impressed, but Carlina has blown us away out of the blue.

While Masella and Radoon showcase their studio capabilities, we have boarded Naji Arun for remixing duties and surely he delivers. Taking Grenache and twisting this one inside out towards his own spectrum.

December has gained golden colors thanks to ‘My Soul', released on Art Vibes. A magnificent EP of three impressive tracks making us travel and dance introspectively in a very special way.
Courtesy of Ukrainian producer Jean Vayat and American singer / producer Evelynka, ‘My Soul' takes us into a sphere of dance and reflection through powerful synthesizers and progressive beats. The beats go hand in hand with Evelynka's spatial vocals, guiding us to a place where calm turns into euphoria.

Spanish producer Yamil joins Art Vibes with his own take on ‘My Soul' where the minimalist kick and percussions give the track another personality. Keeping the narrative characteristics of the original piece, this remix ends up landing on a foamy drop, with glass bubbles and uplifting chime landscapes spinning around our ears. Try it for yourself!

Closing off the EP, Artaria's remix of ‘My Soul' is an explosion of intricate sound synthesis, restless percussion, reverberation and electric shocks that are impossible not to dance to. All this precedes an unexpected drop, uniting the rhythmic aesthetics of eighties techno with the energy of trance and its distinctive synthesizers.

This release is one more example of the diversity Art Vibes is aiming for when producing music. The three tracks stem from the same place but feature completely different aesthetics.

The result is a fusion of inspirations reflecting both the landscapes traveled and the evolving sonic ideas along the way.

BOHO and Rachel Raw have been grinding away for the past few years in the German techno scene from their hometown, Cologne. The two collaborate frequently both in the studio and on the decks, combining BOHO’s deep and focused sound with Rachel Raw’s heavy beats and hypnotizing melodies.

Their new EP, The Happening, stays true to their respective genre-bending catalogues. The title track displays a beautiful, spacey melody over a deep, techy bass line and driving groove. The Mr. Bizz remix thickens things up and takes it to the late-night dancefloor with a deeper and darker techno arrangement. Hansaring brings in the 303 for some acid-flavored progressive house, while Silver Stripe makes use of a filter-modulated bass and arpeggiated melodies to craft a hypnotic and exciting arrangement. Altogether it’s a diverse and unique set of sounds that showcases the German duo’s knack for interesting, genre-blending techno.

Italian duo Armonica has been a project we've discovered a long time ago, so working with the full release with guys is our pleasure and honour.
Their significant productions with Connected Frontline, Stil Vor Talent and Multinotes, as well as the recent remix, done with MoBlack for the legend of afro-beat Fela Kuti, released with Defected, have become the main reasons to love guys' sound.
The main title 'Slave' is powerful and effective banger edging between the melodic influence of laidback Indie Dance vibes and the acid sounds.
We are happy to have Dutch producer Patrice Baumel taking his hands on the remix of 'Slave': going more underground with powerful low-ends work, catchy melodies and the enveloping breakdown, Patrice's version is the undoubted proper floor-worker.
The third 'Ratio' has a profound ground: major synth spots and the melodic elements are unified into the properly performed track.
Enjoy any of the tracks from the release, either all of them; the second will make us happier.
