@duowemusic, AKA brothers Max & Will, are the London-based masterminds behind Fraise Records. Featuring releases by the likes of Nathan Pinder, Frankel & Harper and of course Duowe themselves, the pair have spent the past couple of years carefully creating their own uniquely sweet Fraise sound and the label has simply become buy-on-sight for any self-respecting crate digger as a result.

When DJing, the dynamic duo whip up dancefloors and their own Fraise parties into fruity frenzy with their on-brand blend of deep house and tech house space oddities. For this episode of the VSVN podcast the pair have served up over an hour of laidback downtempo and smooth deep house to chill out even the most stressed out listener.

I grew up listening to the radio or better said, the radio grew me musically, infected me with a visceral need to select the music I loved and tape it on cassettes. Rising through the ranks of London's underground nightlife scene, this mix is a true essence of her set-style.

Russian-born Anastasia Vtorova makes music that is autobiographical in style, but also in name. The titles of @machinewoman's tracks reference things like her favourite bouncers ('Camile From OHM Makes Me Feel Loved’) as well as her least favourite genres ('I Want to Fuck Tech House'). The beats themselves bare the hallmarks of the different chapters of her life, from the industrial she was first exposed to growing up in a post-Soviet environment to the late-night eeriness of Salford where she lived before moving amongst the minimal rhythms of Berlin. All this came out most recently in her distinctly glitchy, mechanical sounds and abstractions for toucan sounds with Derek Muro late last year. 

This week's mix feels like a continuation of that, with spacious after-dark electronics, moody ambient and shadowy dub techno soundtracking a walk through a desolate network of abandoned warehouses. Ghoulish sounds lurk around every corner as the pace picks up, with the occasional ray of light, drip of water or hallucinatory synth pulling you ever further into her world. It's a fascinating place to be.

Living in London, G.Gee is one of the brains and builders behind Turn The Screw - a London & Leeds based underground party series she runs alongside Jordan Frost. The pair started their party in post-pandemic 2021 to create a space for a community of like-minded ravers who share a passion for good music and good parties. They've since welcomed heavyweight party-starters like Reeshy, Youandewan and Felon5 to headline their shows.
