It is hard to see where Uruguay’s Michelle ends and her machines begin, they are an extension of her. Her ability to convey such emotion and meaning with the use of hardware is so impressive but hardly surprising given that Nicolas Lutz prizes her abilities. With two solo EP’s on My Own Jupiter and a track on Lutzifer she is clearly on to a good thing. The fact that her first major release was the 2 x 12” EP on My Own Jupiter also points to a star in the making. Introducing Eva Velazquez on this chapter, presenting an all vynil set.
Eva Velázquez was born in San Carlos, Maldonado, Uruguay.
She began her interaction with the electronic scene in 2014, mainly attracted by Uruguayan artists such as Dj Koolt, Z@p, Nicolás Lutz, Kino, among others.
In 2017, already living in Montevideo and frequenting phonotheque, she aroused her interest in DJing and two years later she already began to collect music in vinyl format.
By 2020 she was already taking classes with Dj Koolt at @ k.estudio.uy
Her favorite genres are Techno, EBM, New beat and Electro.
