Its unfortunate that people base their doctrine on the book of Enoch. Available versions of the book have many heresies, contrary to sound doctrine. All the manuscripts have been dated after AD200 or so. Eg, Book of Enoch gives measurements of the so-called hybrid giants to be over a 1km up to 4km in height!! Common sense! Even Goliath was a realistic 2.8meters! Book of Enoch says Enoch lived up to 500 yrs. False! The book teaches worship of angels, and angels as mediators btwn God and men! The bible never says Jude was directly quoted from an actual 'book' of Enoch. Jude was probably alluding to Jewish oral tradition! The available books of Enoch like many other non-canonical books, show that they were written by non-inspired scribes who tried to put together folklore, myths and oral evidence to come up with a book (Tit 1:14, 1Tim 4:7). Many Jewish non-canonical books are full of fallacies, folklore and exaggerations of Jewish myths!
