Wow!  This song surfaced in the 1700"s, at least the lyrics. I just felt it needed an intro and ending. As with most of my songs I could not help but include some social commentary. The South Bronx are so poor and crime ridden,as my song says, If God can live here, he can live anywhere.  Another basement tape. Can't wait to get in studio to produce with children singing the last part. Rock On with Amazing Grace. It is rough, but I like the composition as a Rock tune.

This song is a message from a friendly to humans, Alien Spacecraft. A message to Humans who have been complicit in the War on Humanity, and Planet Earth. I also love the lyrics, Is It Just Raining On Me? This refers to the feelings of loneliness on The Road Less Traveled. Hey, it"s The Great Shift Of The Ages and ET disclosure could come soon. If you don"t think a Great Shift is in progress, you're not paying attention!

Okay, so I was going through a midlife crisis when I wrote this song. She was at least 18, ah, 21 yah yah. Alright Like Jimmy Carter once said. I "lusted in my heart." But as another well known President once said, "I did not have sex with that woman." Another Basement tape for sure, but like The Chapel Was Empty tune., It was written at the time of the experience, and I l,iked the raw emotion and simplicity.

Pain is a great teacher, if we would only listen to what it is trying to tell us. I wrote this song about the time I was attending a support group. We all had different issues. But one young lady really made an impact on me. She was what's known as a cutter.  She had self inflicted wounds and burns all over her body. So damaged. Technological advances always promised less time at work and higher incomes. But while we are totally distracted and wowed by  technology, the world planners are rolling out the artificial intelligence and robots. Most government workers can be replaced by AI,oh and you doctor, you are about to become irrelevant. Wait til Robo Cop  pulls you over. Bet you didn"t hear much in the political debates did you? Have you heard about the UBI. Universal Basic Income! Life to death slave income. If we don't speak out, We Are Just A Hi-Tech Fool!

Great Info-tainment.  Uncensored, unlike Radio Tell-A-Vision Facebook and U-Tube. It is Fear of the Truth that has lead to the Violence  and Silence in our Empty Malls , Churches, Eating Establishments and Work Places.  The Tsunami Of Silence Rolls On!

Here is my story...It was the Rock and Roll 1970's, and as my eyes looked down upon the current "Top Forty Nifty Fifty" music chart, I had no idea that the first two songs I had ever written, would send me on a wild ride which would be the most fun a young single man in his twenties could ever experience. But there it was, "Love and The Last Days" by my band "The Quest - Top Ten on the Nifty Fifty" and ahead of The Beatles songs. 

Wow! I did not know it at the time but, I was a big fish in a small pond, which has big advantages. Yeah, I wasn't in New York, Chicago or L.A. This was the La Crosse, Wisconsin "Nifty Fifty." I was a local rock star, and trust me, the stories about the life of a rock star are all true. Just like the lyrics to another hit song, I was eating cake by the river, Yah Yah Yah Yah Yah Yah! Being in a successful rock band  in your twenties, be it even in a small pond, you will never have more fun in your entire life. 

My story really begins as a little boy always listening to the radio shows coming out of Chicago while in the barn on our family dairy farm. I would sing into empty barrels to get the reverb sound, while dreaming of singing my own songs on the radio, and being on the radio as a broadcaster like Paul Harvey or Don McNeil. Well, to keep a long story short, after leaving the green pastures of Wisconsin, and jumping headlong into the Big Pond, I became a very successful Sales Executive with Memorex and Polaroid. I found myself swimming in that big pond with superstars and big parties. This allowed me the freedom to write more music in the late 90's. 

But, my music was interrupted, as luck would have it, for the chance to fullfill that little farm boy's other dream...that of being a Radio Broadcaster on a major Chicago radio station. For the next seven years, I was Co-Host of Chicago's Longest Running Health News And Science Show, HealthQuest Radio on WIND. Wow! And here I was interviewing on the air, the man who sang the "Most Played Song In Radio History...You Lost That Lovin Feeling." Yep, Bill Medley of The Righteous Brothers. That's Righteous Brother! 

Having put that dream to bed, I am now back in the Music Business. Or, as I call it , The Fun Business. Now you get to listen to my solo work done in my basement in the late nineties. Only three of these were done in a studio with other musicians. They are still a work in progress but hey, wouldn't it be fun to put your ear to someone's basement window, and hear them having too much fun with a Fostex 4-Track tape recorder. You know, listen to a possible hit song, at its conception/birth. Enjoy the title song of my future CD titled Ancient Eyes. Oh, and about that hit song I had back in the 70's? Check back here as I will be converting it from vinyl and posting it. 

Oh, and Hey Kids! Remember to "Dream Big," choose wisely, and "Believe In The Magic Of Your Dreams." And just like the lyrics to my song posted on this site, "Back To School." Ride the highway west and don't look back. All the good things are waiting for you!
