I loved doing this track. It was very exciting and a challenge, especially to learn the language. The tempo is really fast so it took a lot of practice but once I got it, the performance of the song was amazing fun! When I was recording, I probably looked so funny because I was bouncing around and becoming the character in the song! I'm a big video game fan, so getting to become a character for this epic game was a huge honor! I'd love to perform this live! In fact I liked singing this so much that all I want to do now is write for and sing for video game music! It's super cool and fresh. ✌ ♥♥♥ -K Á R Y Y N

Message from Eshericks

When we started, the LA/NY local vocalist  K Á R Y Y N was suggested by my manager Daigo, the CEO of Ringmasters LLC. Once I heard her demo tracks on soundcloud, I was so impressed by her beautiful and powerful vocal.
K Á R Y Y N initially showed difficulty getting down the vocal right but it turned out to be so fantastic I had no words to say. Furthermore, there are actually 2 versions of this remixes. Originally I was more like arranging the original track so that Anubis fan would be convinced, but first thing that manager Daigo said after listening to it was 

 "I am going to tell you once mister, but come up with something original by Eshericks!! , I don't approve this track, sir."

ok, so the second baby was born 2 days later. man that was some hard labor to deliver. I added some mean electro bass so that her vocal doesn't own the whole track. What do you think?

Being a fan of Konami I was excited at the chance to work with them.  Once I
found out it was for Zone of Enders, I was even more excited remembering how
fun this game was when it was first released.   Once I knew the song they
wanted remixed, I went to work in the studio finding the right balance of
heavy synths and melodic nuances to make the original come to life again.  I
know fans of the game will not be disappointed in what Konami has put
together in this remix project and will be feeling the rush all over again!

Message from Specimen A(Phil Jones)

Working alongside a games company like Konami has always been a goal
of mine and i was very pleased and hounored when asked to participate
in this project.
 
This was without doubt a type of project that I had not done
before. Maintaining the balance between the original music and remixing
it  in to style of Drum and Bass was more of a challenge than I first
thought. The remix was quite difficult  because the parts were sent to
me in a way which I had to recreate a lot of the content. Not so easy
when you are faced with bpm changes, different time signatures and so
on.
 
Needless to say I did what I could to make it work. At one point I was
rather stuck with keeping enough of the original content in and making
it sound authentic. I'm very happy with the outcome now. Our remix
keeps the qualities of the original but is delivered in an underground
future Drum and Bass style. The depth and dimension of this remix
really came together in the end. I hope the fans of the game enjoy our
interpretation of 'Train' and look forward to doing more work with the
team.

I have been playing video games all my life as most of us have, so this was a very special project for me. Because it was my first gig in the game industry and i have to say i loved working with Konami, especially because i am a fan of their work. 
 
when I heard the preview of the song I immediately heard how a remix would sound in my head, which is always a good thing when making a remix. A couple of days later I got the stems and went directly into it. I had the first full version done in a couple of days in the studio. Which is a rare thing but with this song, everything just went together. 
 
After sending it for a review to Daigo(ceo Ringmasters) i got a couple of fixes back from him and Konami to work on. So when i fixed that i again sent it for a review and only minor things needed to be done after that and the remix was complete.It was a fun journey and i hope there will be lots more!
 
I would like to thank Brendan Collins, CEO of Viper Recordings for always being there for me and believing in what I do and the same goes to Tim Viper. I also want to thank Asad Raja from funkatech records for making me a part of this big project along side with Daigo Kawai for helping me every step of this remix. finally a big thanks to Konami for giving me the chance to work on youe legendary soundtrack from Zone Of the Enders.

不思議なもんだ。発足後1年も経たない会社で、今回担当した5曲は起こるべくして起きたことだった。しがない作曲家をやってたロサンゼルス時代、偶然Craigslistで「ホルン奏者求む！」という、なんか変なバンドメンバー募集の三行広告に惹かれ、出会ってしまったんだな。
恐ろしすぎて目を離せないほどのステージプレゼンスを持つKARYYNに。

同じ頃偶然ネットで出会ったEshericksの才能を信じ、実際に会ったこともないのにSkype越しに「ジャーマネやるお！」と言い放ったならば、第一弾の曲をリリースしたレーベルに偶然所属してたWrexxとネット越しに出会う。
その1年後にはすでにロンドンのfabricにいてEshericksのDJパフォーマンス姿を見守っていたら、クラブで偶然出会ったのはFunkatechのレーベルオーナーだった。起業前facebook越しでねちっこく提携を求め、契約となり今回2曲を担当してくれた。
自分が残してきた足跡は何時の間にか縁となり、円となり、今回のリミックスプロジェクトを得んとなった。この5曲は、絶対に必然だった偶然の出会いの化学で出力された、ホント不思議で斜め上の副産物。ぜひご賞味あれ！
