this photo is a symbol of my change, having had serious eating disorders. I have always been a sportsman, but here I weighed 65 kilos and I couldn't gain weight. I wasn't very happy with my body, and I worked a lot... this photo has been very important over the years, and has always motivated me.. I took this photo 8 years ago, when I was in Bulgaria!! 15 kilos ago.. As for the song, I wrote it in a period in which I was having love troubles.. I think that a text like that, today without emotion, would be unrepeatable. I want to share with you, I hope you like it🧡

This song orignated with Jeff, who wrote a poem, which he set to a beat and a key with some very cool vocal processing. He sent it to me, and I added the bass and the synth lines. I had to, of course, got the rest of the Eclectic Collective involved. Ken came up with a solid, distinct beat, based loosely on my first take. I then redid my bass line to match up with Ken's drums, which is the way they seem to work best, sometimes going back and forth like that several times until they're locked in. Then, Tez and Stephen each added very distinct, supportive guitar tracks to fill it in. Tez comes through with the very Strat sounding bells ringing throughout. Stephen really shines with his textural tremolo playing throughout, as well as the rocking end. He also produced and mixed it expertly, as always. 

  This is the first time the Eclectic Collective has collaborated with Jeff, although both Josh and especially Stephen (as part of the band, The Smoking Trout) have made music with him before. We really enjoyed making a song based on his vocals, and Jeff is a welcome addition to our sound anytime. We all really enjoyed making this one. We hope you enjoy listening to it.

"All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth" is a novelty Christmas song written in 1944 by Donald Yetter Gardner (1913-2004) while teaching music at public schools in Smithtown, New York. 

The song was originally recorded by Spike Jones & His City Slickers on December 6, 1947, with lead vocal by George Rock. That version reached the top of the pop charts in 1948, and again in 1949. The song has also been recorded by numerous other singers and performers, including Ray Stevens, George Strait, Danny Kaye with The Andrews Sisters, The Platters, Dread Zeppelin, The Kelly Family,  Nat King Cole (reportedly Gardner's favorite version), The Chipmunks, the Hampton String Quartet, The Three Stooges, and Count von Count of Sesame Street.

Brooklynz PPL - New York City (DJ Tool 2 - No Beats)

This is my first hardware jam… with the Playtronica Orbita! It’s a new
MIDI sequencer, shaped like a turntable. Orbita has 4 tracks. On the
first one, I trigger a bass drum played by the Behringer Edge. Voice
samples come from the TR-8S, sequenced on the 4th track. 
I’ve mapped a Launch Control XL3 to control parameters such as note length or
velocity and even the rotation speed AKA the BPM. 
The acid line is played on the 2nd track with my x0xb0x plus Analog Drive for
distortion and Eventide H9 for reverb. On the 3rd track, I trigger the
Hydrasynth Explorer with a dirty techno screech I’ve designed from
scratch. After recording -one shot, I’ve mixed each audio track with
the Analog Heat +FX. And then… More Analog Heat on the master track!
