This is my first song for FAWM 2017. This song is about the discord between Nature and Civilization and a love between two people caught amidst the turmoil. I think in a subtle way its about the current political climate. I hope you like it. It was fun to record in an open tuning on a 12 string Rickenbacker.

The Prettiest Thing

This song is just my pissed off self needing to get out what is going on in the USA right now. I'm being cynical, serious, sarcastic and may be slightly comical. I think that's just how I get it out. Hope you find some truth and if it offends you, I'm down to listen as to why. 

Also, I find my voice is naturally kind of ironic sounding when I sing in low registers, I have come to embrace that and I have given myself and alter Ego called 'Pin-Pin Morgül' for such occasions.

I struggled with this one...not so much musically but a little more emotionally. This song is about the unique relationship young men hold with their fathers. Hope you like it:)

This song was made for dancing in a revolution. Tahrir is the square in which the people of Egypt came together to demand the end of the reign of Hosni Mubarak.

So I used to do a bit of skateboarding back when I was 16 and living in Europe. My friend Knox and I used to go out and tear up town squares and scare people. We used to just skate, listen to punk rock, play guitar and smoke. He passed away at a young age, so this song is for him. I know your still trying to make those flips up there brother.

Four Wheel Freedom

These lyrics came to me when I was working really late one night this month. I was in this massive hotel alone and the thought of being bound to a faceless man kind of scared me. I think because of that I had to write about it. I hope the imagery I wrote translates.

The Faceless Man

This song came from a conversation I had with a co-worker. We had a conversation about pursuing our dreams and afterwards, as I was driving home, this melody came to me. Just so happens it came during FAWM. Worked out perfect. I turned it into a love song more than anything. Hope you like it.

This is just a fun little Punk song, it probably comes from my deep love for The Damned and the Buzzcocks. That's all. Have fun with it.
