Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha
Ganesha (Vighneshvara) is the Lord of Obstacles. He creates and removes obstacles, teaching us how to deal with them.
Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha can be translated as “My salutations to Lord Ganesha” or "I bow to Lord Ganesha". This mantra is from the Ganapati Upanishad, a long Sanskrit writing from the Vedas all about Ganesha.
Om is thought to constitute the Divine in the form of sound. It is the universal sound where its utterance is considered the sound of creation itself. 
Gam is a bija mantra, the seed mantra for Ganesha. These words are used interchangeably to indicate the same god. 
Ganapati is actually the alternate name for Ganesha. The ending 'aye' (Ganapataye) indicates that something is for or to Ganapati.
Namaha means salutations, I bow to you. Thus, the mantra means "Salutations to Lord Ganesha."

OM GAM GANAPATAYE NAMAHA

This is a mantra to overcome fear, to overcome the fear of death. In case of grief or illness, this powerful mantra can be used for healing.
So this is the great death-conquering nectar mantra.

Mahamrityunjaya Mantra - OM TRYAMBAKAM

With this mantra we honour our essence and everything that comes to manifestation with and through the power of the essence.
We honour the teacher within us and within everything and everyone around us, within every situation and circumstance being the teacher.
We honour the auspicious beauty within everything.

Neelakantha Mantra

oṃ bhūr bhuvaḥ suvaḥ tat savitur vareṇyaṃ bhargo devasya dhīmahi dhiyo yo naḥ prachodayāt

Invocation: om (the primeval sound), bhur (the physical world, earth), bhuvah (the mental world, atmosphere), suvah (the spiritual or celestial world, heavens)

"May we meditate on the beautiful radiance of the deity called the rejuvenator or vivifier (which means the deity of the rising and setting sun) and may that deity inspire our thoughts and meditations and impel us forward on our path."

This is one of the oldest mantras / prayers (3rd book of the Rig Veda, about 1800 BC) that is still being used today and has been in continuous usage for that entire time, so for almost 4000 years.
