Wasn't sure if id do some end of year mixes this year but managed to pull myself away from the turkey and chocolates long enough to do this effort .... there have been lots of great Breakbeat this year but I kinda feel like I have missed out on so many tracks because they were on random labels or a limited release but it's a good problem to have and just like the old days. The original set has great tune selection and atmosphere, but unfortunately like most of the DJs that night the mixing isn't great (due to the set up?) 1995 was the year when the kick drum became more prominent in hardcore, as DJs began incorporating the Scott Brown/Dutch sound into their tunes/sets.
