Göteborgselektronikerna ('the Gothenburg electro engineers') makes electronic music played and tweaked by hand on analog synths and drum machines with inspiration from Kraftwerk, Jarre, Knight Rider & Miami Vice

Göteborgselektronikerna met in Martins' apartment and started improvising in Nov 2013. The pieces of music that emerged turned into songs some months later. Among the first were 'Lyftet', 'Elektrod' and 'Hållplatz'. 

The members all have long experiences from electronic bands like Octolab and Söderut but also more experimental music in other genres. The resulting mix is an old school approach to (mostly) instrumental electronic music that reaches for the seventies and eighties and puts them in the present.
