Trauma: "The response to a deeply distressing or disturbing event that overwhelms an individual’s ability to cope, causes feelings of helplessness, diminishes their sense of self and their ability to feel a full range of emotions and experiences."

God created us, and put us on this earth to get a job done, but what job can an unhealed man do? A man healed by God operates at 110%, while an unhealed man operates anywhere from 0% - 110%: Basically, you never know what you are going to get from this person. Some days he may be great, other days he may be terrible. He is unstable. An unhealed man has a higher percentage of quitting a task, versus a man who has healed. An unhealed man is limited in what he can do. This was me for a long time. Had trauma, and didn't know I had it. Slowly, but surely, I have been finding healing.

I believe the most important thing any adult can do is heal. Like Nip said, Life is a marathon. But if one is unhealed, they are unable to give 110% in their race. There are 1000 jobs/challenges awaiting us in this life by God, but if we are unhealed, then we won't be able to receive them all the way, or accomplish them. Imagine being a terrible friend, brother, father, cousin, uncle, etc, because you didn't take the time to learn yourself, and heal. I am learning that life is not about us as individuals, because we are all connected. If you are not healed, then you can't help the next person, You are actually not helping life at all by walking around unhealed, you are worsening it.  I had to learn to stop being selfish, and heal for people and things greater than me.

I feel it's important that we all refind our steps in this life, so that we can find our paths, destinies, and realign to who & what God wants us to be, versus remaining damaged, and staying in a box that a traumatized person placed you in at some time on your journey. 

I have been healing my inner warrior, breaking my chains, so I can face the world, and conquer whatever tasks that await me on my journey. I know it’s all a test from The Most High, and I am finally able to trust the process. That’s where the power comes from, and I am experiencing breakthroughs. Still a work in progress, but have been getting closer with God lately, so I feel I am taking the right steps.
