HP20 - The sound of Horringer willow on leather

In this edition we spend some quality time with one of our favourite people as Eve Greygoose is back with her scrapbook, and we’re not talking about her friendship with Gerry Marsden, the Beatles or her legendary performance at the Brits. Instead we learn about 2 other pop legends whom Eve just happened to know; while our archive piece sees us jumping on a rickshaw.

HP21- The Sounds of Fury around Horringer

This edition has a golden couture theme this week as we find out about a unique and special dress which is on display at Ickworth this summer; while the golden tread continues as we remind ourselves of a glorious summer when we meet again the team who created the sunflower field last summer, which will be returning this year.

HP22- Dressing for effect

This edition is rooted in the world of forestry (see what I did there). On a serious note we discover how Ickworth’s ranger team is working hard to save young trees during this extended dry spring and early summer, while later on we meet George Curtis whose dad the legendary Jack was head Forester for 50 years and someone who survived a few lucky escapes whilst up in the Forest canopy

HP23 - Barking up the right trees

In one of our series of international podcasts, this edition sheds light on a lesser known but positive ray of hope in Gaza.
Plus we have the usual local news, a message from Heather with a middle eastern link and John is always on hand to lighten the mood as he remembers an explosion of another type from Oscar Dixon's life as our village bobby. 


HP24 - Gaza

As another Fire Engine bombs down the A143, and in the light of the current dry conditions, this edition has a water theme as we re-meet Bethanie Kennedy who runs Anglia Water’s Priority Services register. 
Later on, Dave Chaplin gives us a short ‘happy’ story about water pollution and diphtheria in Horringer. And if you want to find a cure for your thirst then Tyrone lets slip where Greene King’s private Fire Brigade could help us to find the solution.

HP26 - Water Water Everywhere

This is the final edition before our extended summer break and it is focussed on as many summer activities as possible. The ideas I this; that the harassed parents out there have something up their sleeve between July and August when the kids are at their most ‘engaging’ let’s say. So, Jess is back with her hacks, we have an update from the library and some ideas for getting the kids into gardening and lots more. Plus, we have the scams, briefing notes and a funny fact from our local MP.
What’s more as this is the last one for the time being it will be staying up on soundlcoud and the village website for the next few weeks so there is plenty of time to remind yourself of things to do if the long summer days get a bit hairy and the paddling pool won’t cut it. See you in the autumn.
