I just got a brand new Zoom H5 recorder today and decided to test it out with this cover. It was originally written by John Mayall but this is a cover of the Atomic Rooster version.

I'm going to be writing and recording more original songs in the future with this, but I want to take my time writing and not rush it. I feel like the last few songs I've written were kind of sloppy and I feel like I can do better. I want to start trying to push myself more as a musician, both lyrically and musically.

Broken Wings (Atomic Rooster Cover)

I figured this song out last night and decided it was a good way to test out the new h5. In total I used 4 guitar tracks separately recorded in audacity (first time trying to record this way). This is mostly my own interpretation of the song as a lot of it was improvised. I've still gotta work on improving my timing, but over all I like how this turned out.
