Red Land (Original Mix)

DJ set from Mumush Festival 2022, new emerging and promising festival in Transylvania, Romania, in a beautiful green location between a long panoramic hill and a forest. It was Saturday evening-night and i had the responsibility and the pleasure to do the warm-up for Dekel, who was the headliner of the edition. Initially i thought i would have to start my set differently because i knew Tsu who was scheduled before me plays dark-ish psytech, but surprisingly he played much more atmospheric and melodic than i expected so i had to continue from where he left off and take it to where i knew i had to leave it for Dekel. It slowly builds up while having several ups and downs and plenty of variation but always accelerating the tempo, starts at 130 BPM and finishes at 140. I had a lot of fun during my performance, i love these kind of sets where you can have more room to experiment and play around, in contrast to a peak time set where you have to deliver a full on full power music. It's a very eclectic breaking-the-barriers fusion of psytrance, techno, progressive, zenonesque, acid, tribal and goa, constantly alternating the moods and switching between different styles and sounds. Review:
"Both tracks have a great techno sound that fits well within the realm of Enigma EP. They remind of some of the works from artists like Boris Brechja, Deniz Bul, Amelie Lens, and Charlotte de Witte.

In terms of production quality, as always, Luke tracks are clean and crisp, with clear basslines and rhythmic elements that keep the listener engaged throughout their runtime. I especially appreciate how each track has its own unique atmosphere, ranging from darker sounds to more energetic vibes.

The first track, "Drunk Pistoleiro," features heavy kick drums and pulsing synth stabs that build tension and drive the tempo forward. There are occasional breaks in the beat that add variety and provide opportunities for interesting transitions. Overall, this track creates a moody, hypnotizing effect that would fit perfectly in any late-night dance floor set.

In this set I combined a traktor with an ableton. As for the traktor, I played from 4 channels, while in ableton I used drum machine and samples from the other 8 channels.
