Kindergraph is an independent musician making music in his attic with beats, synths, pianos and noises. Songs turns out however they turn out but the influences in the background probably include Fourtet, DJ Shadow, Mum, Emancipator, Boards of Canada, Massive Attack, The Blue Nile, TWDY, Wolf Alice, Jonsi, and the full gamut of 80s melodic pop. Sometimes playful, sometimes sad, sometimes triumphant, always curious.

‘Heart So Cold’ is a sparse and atmospheric track with a nod to traditional Norwegian folk. The song was inspired by a profound personal loss and finding stillness and hope in the midst of the storm of grief.

Heart So Cold

Daemons is a track written as if a guy is having a conversation with an ex partner, feeling stuck in his active addiction. It tells the story of how it all started off as having fun, until she points out that he may have drink problem. He considers escaping his current situation by moving away, but deep down he knows there is no escaping. He reflects on how his behaviour is hurting him and his ex-girlfriend and in the anthemic bridge, touches on his self-sabotaging loop, repeating the line 'I fuck up just a little and I come down in the middle, right between myself and my dreams'.
