RIP Unus Annus 2019-2020
Unus Annus is a youtube channel created by Mark Fischbach (Markiplier) and Ethan Nestor (Crankgameplays) and it is probably the best thing to come out of 2020. But the channels days are numbered. After 1 year the channel and all its videos will be deleted forever. As of posting this, the channel has 20 days left to live. I loved the videos and the idea behind the channel, so I decided to make something to honor it.

My original idea for this ep was to create 1 song with 2 parts. The first half dark, representing the darker message and athletic of Unus Annus. And the second half being happy and crazy, representing Unus Annus’s actual videos. I ended up spitting the 2 halves of the track into 2 separate tracks, Memento Mori, and Memento Mori (VIP). I tried to include some of the best moments of UNUS ANNUS in Memento Mori, including Melon Man, the Disclaimer Song, Pee Suana. And of course the unceasing ticing of the clock, constantly reminding us that time will eventually consume everything and we need to make the most of the time we have. Memento Mori is probably my favorite song that I have made so far.
