Getting their start playing shows with bands like Naked Raygun, Blue Meanies, Oblivion, the Bollweevils, and the Smoking Popes. Venues such the Fireside Bowl, Cabaret Metro, Off the Alley and MacGregor's were the most likely places to catch them.

"Here It Comes Again" is the second release by Chicago indie-punks The Addisons and was released August 9th 2018 on Torture Chamber Records. The EP was produced, recorded and mixed by Mike Felumlee, drummer for Chicago favorites The Smoking Popes, at his studio “The Rock Room” in Westmont, IL.

The Addisons feature ex-members of Chicago luminaries Not Rebecca, Noise By Numbers, Smoking Popes, Dan Vapid and The Cheats, Tom Daily and Woolworthy and recently added a new drummer Jesse Carmona formerly of Rockford’s Gods Reflex and The Braves.

The Addisons are a Chicago based band that blends driving guitars, dueling vocals, introspective lyrics, post-punk electronics and a punk spirit into their own special brand of alternative rock. The band is made up of four Chicago scene veterans who have done time in the bands Not Rebecca, Textbook, Tom Daily, Smoking Popes, Woolworthy, Dan Vapid and The Cheats, God's Reflex, Noise By Numbers, The Braves, and more. The Addisons take influence from the "college rock" era of the early 90's when bands like The Replacements, Superchunk, The Lemonheads, Archers of Loaf, and Guided By Voices ruled the underground. Since their formation in 2015 the band has released multiple EPs and singles and played shows with bands of various styles such as The Dollyrots, Sideckick Kato, Dan Vapid and The Cheats, The Mons, Airstream Futures and many more.
