"My Cry" is the 6th in a series of new music releases by Visionography Music and is a song about someone who has always yearned to be able to fly, and is given the gift of flight. The song is a metaphor for the feeling of freedom, including the ecstasy but also the fears and responsibilities that go with true freedom. This song works on several levels.

The main musical ideas for the song originated some years ago from Steve.  More recently Tony added some extra sections to the piece and Barry added some bass lines. Steve then pieced it all together, with one or two new parts, et voila!

My Cry

The idea for this track had been with Tony for over 5 years. With the help of Barry Goddard (Bass) and Steve Liberty (Guitar) it has now been developed into a full track. The track has no lyrics but is about having a positive approach to life and overcoming adversity and challenges. Since Visionography Music started this is the 9th track released (including solo pieces) which inspired the title. 9 is also a significant number, as in the 9 months of pregnancy and also as a nod to Pluto as it was originally the 9th planet but what will replace it now as it has been reclassified!

Ninth Child

This track originated from a short bass & keyboard idea and then developed over time with the addition of guitar and vocal sections into the full song released for the first time here. The track is about those who have fought for freedom and liberty historically. 

The track was started in 2018 and intended to represent historic events but seems somewhat topical with events currently taking place in the world today (April 2022). The Track title is based on a fictional regiment "The North Norfolks", although there was a real regiment called the "Royal Norfolks".

A special 'thank you' to Steve Morgan and 'The Show Choir" singers for their contribution to the vocal section.

The initial idea came together really quickly, which is where the title, "What Just Happened", came from. 

The Track was further developed with additional guitar , bass and keys along with changes in arrangement to make it flow better across the sections.  

The story is about a person's accidental travel through a portal, and then their return to home.

New Shape

The Tallest Tree started as a simple bass guitar idea for chilling out, relaxing with and enjoying the sounds of nature as we reflected on our journey through life in search of The Tallest Tree, the One that stands taller than all others and enters Heaven itself. 
The idea developed over time by adding Keyboards & Guitar parts with Colin Burns adding the lead vocals to complete the song ready for release.

The Tallest Tree

The main theme is about a person who has made bad life choices, hurting the people around them, and now finding themselves alone, desolate, trapped, and searching for redemption.  Unlike our devices, there is no "undo" button in real life that we can press to cancel out our bad choices or our recklessness. This is one of our darker pieces, based on an idea started in 2016 but not fully realized until 2023.

Undo The Storm

This song started life as a poem reflecting on the current state of humanity. Barry developed  a bass guitar idea that Steve then took and storyboarded into a more comprehensive piece of music with lyrics reflecting the original poem. Additional musical pieces were added and the final recording, mixing and production came together quite quickly towards the end of 2024.

Loose Change started out as a chilled out jam session by Tony & Barry around 2010 and seemed to get lost in the midst of time and other things. This jam formed the basis of the final track having been recently developed into it's finished format through a few minor technical tweeks, some added keyboards plus the additional Guitar & Vocal parts performed by Steve Liberty. The final recording, mixing and production came together during early 2025.

New music for Christmas 2025 to celebrate the 'reason for the season', the birth of Jesus Christ.
So this Christmas, sit back, enjoy the song, the celebration and the Hope, Peace and Joy that Jesus brings. 

This new Christmas song began as a loose jam by Tony & Barry which was then developed into it's final incarnation by Steve adding vocals and mandolin and mandola.
