This song is for a great and amazing friend of mine who passed away in June. He was and is a catalyst of what I do today. He helped me find creativity and exploration. He was an artist, a drummer, a writer, a comedian, a Giant and my friend. Rest in peace Kyle. I love you dear friend. You will be missed, and remembered everyday.

This is What I'm Made From

I was born in 1968 into a musical family. Everyone played the drums in my house. At one point we had two drum kits set up to accommodate my two older brothers and I. My parents played out professionally as drummers throughout my childhood. Dad raised us on CCR, The Beach Boys, Jazz, and an entire genre of rock. He was always listening. He taught me to listen. As I learned music and some instruments I found a way to express myself. I have many influences..: all of them.  Eddie, Yngwie, Elvis, Dan Penn, Soul Music. I like odd time signatures, but don’t understand them, so I pretend I like them by saying I like odd time signatures. 
You’ll hear my drumming, guitaring, bass guitaring, and vocals on most of my music here.
