Nacido el 27 de marzo de 1996 en Santa Rosa, La Pampa, Arg.
Desde chico apasionado por la música, explorando distintos géneros como el rock, funk, blues. Aunque los sonidos sintéticos y electrónicos fueron lo que verdaderamente lo atraparon e hicieron indagar en la música electrónica... Bandas y artistas internacionales como Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode, Daft Punk, Gorillaz, como así también nacionales... Gustavo Cerati, Virus, Charly, Babasónicos, entre otros.

Tomó clases de guitarra de adolescente, pues siempre buscando de alguna manera compartir música. Pero fue en el año 2021 cuando mezcló temas por primera vez donde realmente se interesó en el arte de la mezcla.

En el año 2024 decidió ir por más y realizó un curso de DJ en "On Academia", aprendiendo a usar controladores y CDJ... Terminado el curso, a fines de ese año se dieron sus primeras fechas, lo que da lugar a seguir haciendolo y en un futuro entrar en el mundo de la producción musical.

Actualmente se inclina por el género "Progressive House", como también por otros sub-géneros del "House" y el "Techno".

John Digweed es una de sus mayores influencias como DJ, ya sea por su versatilidad o por su capacidad de narrar una "historia" a través de diversos estilos en sus presentaciones. Otros artistas referentes son: Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Guy J, Simón Vuarambon entre otros.

Behind N-TCHBL stands Marija Nikolic, born and raised in Niš, Serbia. War and politics colored atmosphere of '90s in her country almost naturally led to growing fond of moody sounds of Pink Floyd, Joy Division, Radiohead, Depeche Mode, Nirvana, The Cure... music that has left a deep scar in her unique musical taste that shows no less of its presence even in her today's sound. At the beginning of 00's names like Deep Dish, Hernan Cattaneo and Moshic led her to a crucial cognition - progressive house with a distinct bass line and sublime emotion, knitted with melodies colouring the background was the sound that suits her the most. Progressive house was something she wanted to live and love. In 2008th the diversity and uniqueness of music she compiled in her sets became recognized by one of the leading booking agencies from Belgrade. Soon many Serbian clubs wanted to book her as an uprising DJ star, that led to her numerous appearances in major Serbian venues in next couple of years. One good thing led to another and easily she became the first Serbian female progressive house DJ to gain international attention, receiving booking inquiries from all around the globe: Cacao Beach "Solar Summer" festival, Sofia's Escape club (listed at that moment in Top 10 clubs in DJ Mag), Egypt, Lebanon, Ministry of sound event in India, Canada's Stereo Montreal, to name just a few. Playing as a headliner and support act of many famous DJs in highly respected venues and festivals in Serbia and across the region made her unique music style admired by many fans from around the globe. Her sets were broadcasted on all of the major worldwide radio stations, and after a dozen of guest mixes on her all-time-favourite friskyRadio, including respectful “Artist Of The Week” show, her last dream came true – in March 2011th she became a part of friskyRadio roster! "SUBLIMINAL" brought her the opportunity to present the whole new side of deep, dark, sublime side of progressive house, the show gained support from many iconic progressive house artists and gathered a fan base from Europe to Middle East, USA and South America. Every month on 3rd Mondays she delivers fresh stories by combining distinct, peculiar melodies with both emotional and wicked, rock solid tunes, doing it all the female way. As a sign of uniqueness Marija often brings traditional and oriental sounds, vocals and instruments into her sets to stay in touch with her southern roots, something that easily makes her stand out from all other DJs so you know it's N-TCHBL when you bump into her sets, and no one else does it this way. Exactly this skill, to subtly combine deep, organic, oriental and rock solid progressive sounds made her famous among underground progressive crowds around the globe. Years after she's still resisting to fall under the influence of new musical trends, devoted to not let that unique sound of progressive house ever be forgotten. After almost a decade of break, she returned with selected live performances, warmed up and closed parties and festivals in Serbia with legends like Sébastien Léger, Sebastian Busto, East Cafe, DJ Ruby, headlined UNIVACK Records event in Madrid with Kamilo Sanclemente and soon she might choose to hit your neighbourhood too so keep in touch with her schedule.

Vapour Recordings returns for the next release and this time we are staying local again.

Up next we welcome Meanwhile head honchos, all round legends and very close personal friends to Kasey Taylor and Vapour Recordings, GMJ & Matter. The boys are back on Vapour for their first full single with the label together. Having previously remixed Kasey Taylor's Impressions in 2024, they return with a full original two track EP titled Apex and Undergrowth.

GMJ & Matter have hit their straps over the last few years and have been right at the forefront of the scene with their legendary Meanwhile Recordings label going from strength to strength. On top of that their own productions, remixes and tours are also flying, which includes our annual night together at ADE when our two labels join forces for the night to showcase the best artists from across both labels.

This EP packs a punch with Apex the leading track. This tune has been a highlight of their sets over the last year or so with their trademark sound stamped all over it. It's groovy, tough, driving and hypnotic which is everything you expect from these two juggernauts and has had a lot of early support from all the usual suspects, while Undergrowth takes a more 3am deep wonky cosmic vibe approach which hits the lower tones just perfectly.

It's great to have these two back on the label with their first full single together.

Release Info: 
A storied artist with a rich seam of high-quality releases to his name, Nicolas Rada is a welcome addition to the Meanwhile catalogue with a superb twin-track offering in the shape of “Glasgow / Riot”.

Operating out of his Buenos Aires home, Nicolas Rada has been at the forefront of the Progressive House scene for almost 2 decades. As part of the artist roster under the Analog Agency banner, Nicolas has travelled the world, spanning the continents with performances in Australia, Mexico, Ecuador, Spain, Netherlands, Hungary, Scotland, and not forgetting his Argentina homeland.

Contemporaneously, a production career has seen Nicolas Rada scale rarified heights. From early work and almost a century of credits on Balkan Connection South America, to work on Lee Burridge’s Tale & Tone, Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden and fellow countryman Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music, the Argentinean star has shone brightly in the underground dance firmament with over 400 production credits to his name.

Now gracing Meanwhile with his sizeable talent, “Glasgow” is a typically powerful offering that revels in a thumping beat, off-beat hats and running 16th note bassline. Picking up the pace in the second movement, subtle melodic motifs begin to accentuate the rhythmic collage as they seamlessly develop over the 8-minute timeframe. Atmospheric pads and steam-pressured white-noise risers add to the overall feel as “Glasgow” hits its height in delay-infused melodic patterns that propel it forward to an epic conclusion.

The cleverly named “Riot” immediately excites with its complex rhythmic arrangement and bassline narrative that extends the vibe of its partner track. With bouncing phrasing, it syncopates effortlessly alongside a cascading array of melodic characters that build in dizzying fashion. Using vocal samples drawn from the classic “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” film, first used by the likes of Chicago’s iconic progressive breaks act, Grayarea, the spoken word melds effortlessly with the shimmering synth stabs and textured pads. The result is a 24-carat modern progressive jewel that sparkles from start to finish.

Making a welcome Meanwhile debut, Nicolas Rada lays down a powerful marker with “Glasgow / Riot”.
