Things

The Evelyns are a band born during lockdown. Recordings made separately, in spare bedrooms, across different parts of Birmingham. The enforced simplicity of their sound bears songs that shimmer brightly with a beauty found only in the mundane.

'Brighton Rock' and 'Things' are songs written years ago but make the most sense now. Songs about staring out to sea watching waves crashing in, and of  stolen smiles across crowded rooms, buzz with a desire for things to be 'normal' again.

The Evelyns are a musical side project made up of members from Goodnight Berlin and Every Thread.
