How do you know when you are genuinely ready for a healthy relationship? Are you more or less willing to compromise your values as you age? How do you define, identify, and express your needs in a relationship in order for it to be successful?

In this episode, I'm joined by my friends, Tope Ajala and Makando Mutanda, for an intimate and reflective conversation on readiness. Join us to discover:
- Why we self-sabotage (potentially healthy) relationships.
- How to apply grace and when to sacrifice in order to relate to and serve your partner.

Romantic relationships are beautiful but extremely complex, as two individuals with different perspectives strive to understand themselves, and one another. Oftentimes, the more we understand ourselves, the less willing we are to budge when it comes to our needs being met within these relationships. However, that comes with the readiness of doing the deep work to get to a place of self-awareness and willingness to sacrifice.

The Reckoning of Readiness: Relationships, compromise, and the cost of the pursuit.

How do you know when you're truly living in fullness and fruitfulness? Do you find yourself shrinking back or hiding the bits of you that make you excellent? In this short but sweet solo episode, I reflect on my recent homecoming to London (after almost 4 years, being awakened to the fullness of self, reasons we shrink instead of thrive, and differentiating escape versus pivoting.
