Exodus 25:22 “And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the expiation cover, from between the two cherubim which are upon the Ark of the Testimony, of everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel." 

I am almost done with my 3rd term in the FTTA and today the Lord put this song in my heart. I was touched by the footnote under “meet”. In this context it means “to meet at an appointed place or to meet by appointment.” Can you believe that the God of this universe has set apart time in His schedule to meet with you? I’m so tired of missing my appointments with the Lord! But also, why would God, who is righteous, holy, and glorious, want to meet with me, a fallen sinner who fails over and over again? Because Christ!! The redeeming Christ in His humanity and the shining Christ in His divinity is our expiation cover to meet with God, hear His word, and be infused with God Himself as grace. I love You, Lord Jesus.
