1) Tell us a bit about yourself and your record collection.
 
I am a 39 year old Designer and DJ currently living in London.
 
I have been djing since I have been 16 once I felt the rush of curating music
and connecting to people via the medium of music. 
 
My record collection is very eclectic. 

I love the emotion of rock , the beats of Hip Hop and the energy of dance music. 
and I love to fuse it all together when I make a mix or play out!
 
2) 45/7 is all about celebrating the 7". Can you tell us a bit about 
what you love about the format?
 
As most of vinyl heads will agree collecting and hunting down rare records or finding 
obscure tracks is a big part of the fun! Seven inches have normally quite small runs 
and it's always great finding songs on 7" that have a meaning to you.
 
It's just a great format… very nicely balanced and compact… having a song 
on 7" just feels extra special.
 
Plus it's always more acceptable to buy cheesy guilty pleasure songs on 7" I think hahaha!

3) Can you talk us through your selection for your 45/7 mix?
 
My 7" collection is even more eclectic than the rest of my record shelf. 

It's a lot of fun taking listeners on a journey through sound! I tried to connect 
different genres and show connections between tracks that people might find 
surprising. 
 
I am not a big music snob and find big hits as acceptable to play out as songs 
who are a more edgy and underground.
 
The great thing about the 45/7 VINYL CLUB is that I am encouraged to rediscover 
my own 7" music collection as most of the time I play digitally or 12" vinyl.
 
A good night out for me consists of listening to music that makes me dance 
and smile when the dj drops something unexpected. I tried to capture this vibe 
in my mix.
