One recording containing a lot of bird species (incl. chiffchaff, song trush, grey heron, common starling and other species which I do not know yet by sound)incl. several drumming great spotted woodpeckers. Arnhem Market Ambiance

Mist droplets falling from a tree in a fen at the Kampina heathland. Recorded at nighttime during extreme foggy conditions with a pair LOM Usi omni's in A/B stereo. To emphasise the sound of the falling droplets the gain had to be increased significantly. To reduce the highfreq noise and low rumble of distant traffic, eq and low and high shelving was applied in post.

Aquatic soundscape

Recorded the sound of the wind through the mast and the guy wires of a sunken and iced ship with a pair of diy contact mic's attached to it. The surface of the iced lake near the mast is recorded with another contact mic.

Sunk And Iced Ship

A mixed recording of a contact mic and omni mic's of people skating on the Hofvijver pond aside the buildings of the Dutch parliament. Besides the skate sounds and breaking of the ice surface, you can hear loads of spectatators, who are also reacting to a person who sinks through the ice, community workers wacking the ice in front of the office of the Dutch prime minister, the city carillon and loads of traffic.
