The lyrics are a haiku by Kobayashi Issa; an itinerant Japanese poet who wanders the countryside coping with loss, laying his head on his pillow at night, watching billowing clouds form beneath the moon.

After Issa

Moving and remote harmonies over a pedal F decorated with an acoustic guitar, a flute and a distant pipe organ.  A surprise change to major in the middle.
