We did a lot of laundry for this, took a lot of laundry. Weeks and weeks of loads. Separating the darks from the lights, cools from the warms... cashmere in the mix. Hand-drying our socks. Recorded endless amounts of laundry bumps and creaks to create the drum kit... the spinning was pitched up to make the illusion of a guitar. To get the vocals just right, we shot them from inside the washing machine. This is seriously a squeaky clean record, good luck, you got it.

Wardrobe Malfunction is the collective mind of Maggie Merrifield and Wes Jensen. Spawned in Atlanta, Georgia, the duo are actively creating and experimenting. The music is superfluous in that most of it is written and recorded within the day. Improvisation meets composition. The duality of planning and on-a-whim attitude meet spontaneously within Wardrobe Malfunction. It's a celebration of genre-fusing and exploration with no tones forbidden to the group.
     Both Maggie and Wes have a few side-projects each, but convene here with none of the categorical expectations of their other projects. With a freedom to groove on whatever they're feeling instead of excluding ideas for the sake of continuity, Wardrobe Malfunction is about stream of consciousness enjoyment of making music. Think of the discography as a neatly packaged collage of all the musings of Earth.
