I recently invested into an Arturia Keylab MKii. I have been obsessing with finding wide and orchestral sounds. A friend told me this reminds them of Tangerine Dream. I’ll take it! 🍊

Soaring Thru Canyons

This song emerged as my first attempt at a filmscore sound. The filmscore seminar I’m enrolled in called for an odd timing exercise with smooth transitions. The first section is in 5/4, middle 3/4, outro 11/8, with a sprinkle of bowed guitar at the end. I used effects thru my pedalboard playing guitar, wood flutes, my voice, and some sounds/instruments within Ableton. I was stoked on how this came out. I didn’t have a title for this song so decided to name it after a podcast I have been listening too. Enjoy!

Telepathy Tapes

This track is inspired by a sci-fi mystery film in the making called “Stars Above”. Once informed that they are looking for a composer, I got a spark of inspiration and cooked this up!

I used an Arturia Keylab MKii in all its midi glory. I recorded an overtone flute subtly in the mix at the end.

I’m a multi-instrumentalist, with a passion for sounds. I’m aspiring to become a film/game composer. Making music brings me joy and healing. I’m currently studying film and game scoring, giving me the skills/knowledge to compose soundtracks within music production. I have recently discovered this is the path I want to walk.
