On Friday 28 February 2025, renowned saxophonist Edoardo Marraffa performed a new composition titled AIRTRANE inspired by Massimo Bartolini’s exhibition Sparse steps (1 February–8 March 2025). Marraffa performed the piece twice, accompanied by Bartolini and the gallery staff who played the artist’s ‘sound paintings’, on display in the exhibition.
