James Shinra is a London-based electronic music producer who creates “acid laced braindance, resonating electro and addictive melodies. Lush and seamless production, as good in the sun as it is the depth of night.” With releases on Feel My Bicep, Balkan Vinyl, and WIDE, his most notable EPs include November 2015 release “Ball & Chain” on London’s @null-void; his March 2017 self-released "Orbit"; and “Meteor” on Spain’s @analogicalforce released May 2017. He also contributed to the Spanish label’s “Voiceless” series alongside Kettel, Dwaallicht, EOD, and the late great Microlith.

On a personal level, Shinra is my favorite producer of 2017 and it is an honor and a privilege to  to feature him on Neptunian Influence. He is a master of his very unique sound and I’ve never really heard anything else quite like it. Prepare to lose yourself in a dream and if fate should have it, we’ll find each other for a dance in the Great Dark Spot.

LT's electro roots traces back to the summer of 1997 when at the time he had no idea the genre existed, and was heavily influenced not by electronic dance music, but by the extreme and aggressive styles of metal. Mainly death metal that was birthed in his home base area of tampa bay. His friends literally dragged him kicking and screaming to a late night club in tampa where for the first time he would hear the genre that would change his musical landscapes forever. He witnessed something he had never seen or heard before and it came in the form of a group that to this day he credits as one of his major influences known as Dynamix II.

One of his biggest influences and inspirations James Wolfe, the legendary founder and owner of Frajile Recordings saw the passion and desire to keep the electro fires burning in LT and now has signed him to his Frajile label so that LT can debut his latest work, a collaboration with James, himself, and his good friend and fellow DJ Inf3ctious Kutz titled "#ELECTROFIRST" that is forthcoming Frajile early 2018. 
That is just the beginning for LT so for anyone who shares the love and passion Lt does for electro you DO NOT want to miss one of his sets as he takes you on a spiritual journey thru the darkest and deepest realms of electro so much so, that you will be screaming:

"HALLELUJAH TO THE HOLY ELECTRO GHOST AND GLORY TO THE MACHINES!"

Neptunian Influence, Eighteen | Featuring Larry McCormick aka @exzakt

Today is the closest Neptune will be to Earth this year, and being that Neptune is the eighth planet from the sun, mysteriously lodging in the outskirts of our solar system, close is not really...close. Today Earth passes between Neptune and the sun and tomorrow, September 7, Neptune will reach opposition, opposite the sun in Earth’s sky. This means that Neptune should be the brightest planet in our sky, however, at opposition Neptune still lies 29 times farther away from Earth than Earth lies from our sun. 

Perhaps it’s because the dark, watery depths of Neptune are so untouchable that it is such a catalyst for creativity. I’ve had my heart set on presenting something extra special on this date for almost a year now, and I could not be happier or more honored to present what is destined to go down as one of the most lethal electro mixes of the year. 

@bassagenda said it best, "Larry McCormick aka Exzakt is one of the most recognizable, prolific, and accomplished purveyors of the heavy Miami Electro sound and responsible for some of the sound's most memorable, timeless, and heavy hitting tracks. He is the man behind the Monotone US imprint, a skilled DJ, versatile artist, and a key player in some seriously dangerous collaborations." Operating in the industry for nearly 20 years, McCormick has toured worldwide and cultivated an impressive discography that includes recent highlights such as his official remix for Dave Clarke feat  Anika - “I'm Not Afraid” on @skintrecords, a full length album "Intelectro" on the prestigious label @shipwrec and a recent full length album "Genesis" on his own label. Monotone has also released music by the likes of The Advent, 214, DeFeKT and DJ Overdose. 

Currently McCormick is pursuing his dream project of a third Exzakt studio album, EvolveD, and follow-up to 2001’s Evolve.
