For our first ever Artist of the Month we have chosen 'Restraint'! He's really pushing himself in his music and this shows in his recent releases. He also has a lot of great stuff in the works so its definitely worth keeping an eye on him. Rift - iamMTN / Restraint / Submotion

I don't usually do a lot of sound design on drums but because I misread the rules i thought we could only use the drums in the sample pack so i'm proud of the drums i made out of those samples. I used the rhodes sample and changed the key and chopped it up. I also used the Kalimba sample and pitched it down as well as spanking a F ton of reverb on it and slowing it down 300% to make a subtle but creepy ambience. Thank you for listening!
