I don't usually use stock vocals, but this one really caught my ear. It had something refreshingly old-timey & folksy about it. The song is split up into 2 parts with the first being about sundresses & summer, and the latter having a cold "wintery" feel to it. Overall it's got a slight melancholy feel, but I also wanted to give it the excitement that's on-par w/ the beginning of summer

About loss, about what we remember. Passing away is always a somber event, but over 20 years ago when my father was in his last days he told my mother to "be chirpy". I think it is good advice. The Colombian flag is in remembrance of my mother-in-law who passed away peacefully on 9/27/22 - may she rest in peace.

This is the first time I write something using the Cm harmonic scale (and lo and behold I stayed in key throughout) instead of the melodic. It definitely brought out some sadness.

Because I really love this one year old song I made with Cecilia, I revised it again. I've added some violin sounds that emphasize the sad atmosphere of the song even more. I also re-recorded some guitar parts and the bass. I like this version even better now. I hope you too.
