Nyquee Lowdown took a love for music at a very young age, and started rapping in freestyle cyphers in the projects.  His unique voice even at an early age caught the attention of many ears and developed a following.  Lowdown created  a group called, Clever Mindz.  Their music was a mixture of hardcore beats, melodic melodies and lyrics that spoke of the inner city realities.  Lowdown being inspired by neighborhood legends Naughty by Nature, was taught to take your future into your own hands and depend on no one.  With that lesson in mind, Lowdown decided to start various business adventures ranging from an independent record label, publishing companies, clothing line, film company and management company.  Lowdown has shared the stage with many legends ranging from Dave Navarro to Wyclef.  Lowdown has also topped the CMJ charts, toured the United States, and is now ready to emerge again to bring back good times, lyrics and hard beats back to hiphop.

Lowdown’s current project titled, “F.A.T.E.”  (Focus And Take Everything)  Consists of hypnotic choruses, solid grooves, and memorable lyrics.  Songs include:
GO HARD- Lowdown speaks of relentlessly going after what you want, and stopping at no time until you achieve your goal
FRESH- Spits lyrics about being at the top of your game and having the confidence that no one can do it quite like he can.  
DIGGIN YA STYLE-Lowdown takes time out to admire the ladies and spits romantic words of a thug gentlemen.

With videos to support each release, Lowdown wants to add another dimension to current hiphop with solid beats, nice grooves and dope lyrics.  Slated for a Coast to Coast fall tour for 2018, Lowdown wishes to solidify hiphop fans that are growing tired of the same ole sounding songs that plaque our airwaves today.  HIphop fans that just want to get back to good feeling and great sounding music.
