Dub Pyschedelia band from Cleethorpes, UK.

Sapiens, is the brainchild of three musician's from the seaside town of Cleethorpes, UK. They had been on each others radars for a few years. playing on the same lineups, in other musical projects.

Born from the tedium of a global pandemic and shared interests in dub music; the three piece began collaborating at the end of lockdown and soon found a passion for fusing elements of dub, krautrock and psychedelia. 

With influences such as: Lee Scratch Perry, Khruangbin, King Tubby, The Scientist, Captain Beefheart, Can, Pink Floyd, and Julian Cope to name just a few, Sapiens craft their own bespoke take on the genre resulting in heavy dubs, psychedelic textures and melodic pop structural sensibilities.
