Interesting tune with a pretty experimental mood.

This release is a little different from my usual line, results from an obvious folk influence and turns around quite dreamy lyrics and romantic musical arrangement. The mood of this song is about allowing yourself to imagine another life, feel another world, transform one another and, by embarking this imaginary journey, actually just to be. A 3:15 minutes glimpse to a lifetime voyage towards an untethered soul…

Realizing this song brought me a very nice surprise in the form of a pleasant new collaboration. The lyrics required a female voice and I had difficulties finding the ethereal but not immaterial one I had in mind. The challenge persisted for a couple of weeks until I got in touch with Hana Pavšič - the talented Slovenian artist who covered this song with her beautiful voice and brought the extra touch to it, giving it this enchanted atmosphere I was after for this Magic spell.

Hey everyone! Let’s dive into the production of my song, Reason.
We built this track on a foundation of smooth, mid tempo drums, nothing too aggressive, but just enough to keep the groove moving. The kick and snare are tight and punchy, while the hi-hats add a bit of swing to keep things dynamic. There are also some soft percussive layers in the background, giving it a touch of organic feel.
The bassline is one of my favorite parts, it’s deep and warm but never overpowering. We used a mix of a soft sub-bass and a slightly plucked synth bass, making sure it sits just right in the mix. It glues everything together while adding that necessary emotional depth.
The chords are a mix of gentle electric piano and some atmospheric pads, creating that lush, floating vibe. There’s also a light guitar melody weaving in and out, adding a bit of an organic touch to contrast the smooth synth textures.
For the vocals, we went for a really close, intimate sound. There’s a slight reverb and delay to give it space, but we kept the main vocal crisp and upfront. The harmonies are soft but powerful, creating a layered effect that builds emotion throughout the track.
You’ll hear little details like soft vocal chops in the background, light reverb tails that add depth, and some reversed synths swelling in and out. These small elements make the track feel alive and evolving.
Overall, Reason is about capturing that late night, introspective energy, smooth, soulful, and full of feeling. Hope you guys love it as much as I do!

This track was another version of the track "Soldier, universal" that is released simultaneously. I found this version too good to not let folks listen to it, so this will show those who think it's easy to use the Suno AI to make music: first I wrote the lyrics and then I spent several hours vith the AI and got songs that were mostly good at killing flies. But this version is so catchy!!
