I have been a teacher for most of my life. This is a very short poem I wrote some time ago, which I have set to music. 

Young Minds

So many lives were touched
I hope that what I brought them benefited them 
Helped prepare them for life’s journey 

Yet it was such a brief moment in the eternity of time
That I was allowed in
To their impressionable minds

So many memories
Of good and bad moments
Battling against an ever-changing invasion 
Of others
Who needed my attention
At the same time 
As those young minds and spirits 
were being encouraged to fly

Some of them still hold to those moments 
And store them 
As happy memories 

For some a seed was sown

And for that
I am eternally grateful

Another little gem for you all, 'Wrong Felt Right' one of my personal favourite, has such a good vibe to it. Drums inspired by Fred's - Delilah, can't tell I listen to him alot......Story is pretty straight forward and I am sure you have all been through a rough relationship where you get lost in the dark and make it hard for no reason.
