The idea for this song came together in the late 90's. The words were inspired by what I was experiencing at the time. It seemed like just a repetitive phrase at first, but after listening to it several times, I realized how something little meant so much. 
When I first sent this to the Snuff Crew, they immediately replied that they were interested in it. I took the song back in the studio and gave it a slight update.  I kept the original vocal and 707/808 drums. 
I updated the Bass line and used a Juno 60 as opposed to the original Prophet 600 sound. I'm both surprised and happy as far as the amount of attention this has received. I can't thank The Snuff Crew enough for inspiring me to finish this. Also want to thank Strictly Rhythm for taking it to the next level with their Digital release.  Currently the vinyl version is the only place you can get the Acid & Instrumental mix. Also there's is an  A capella version found only on the digital release. The Ep is now available at most record stores and digital online sites. Here are a few links.

Hailing from Cologne, Hans Schaaf first release as Honesty was in 1995 via Space Teddy Recordings.

Since then Schaaf moved to Berlin, performing as part of an improv-jazz band named Gelee Royale, as well as focusing on producing club music under various monikers. Schaff’s best-known pseudonyms, such as Honesty, Honeydrop and a duo named Slope alongside Cabinet founder Daniel Paul, have collectively released on the likes of Room With A View, Cabinet and Sonar Kollektiv.

Burnski is by no means the fresh faced new comer he looks. Despite still being relatively young, he has actually been toiling away, building up an enviable discography and laying down fierce DJ sets for a whole decade and a half. Right from the off he began making a big impact with early releases and has continued to quietly but competently build up momentum ever since. The upshot of this is that he is now at the point where he is a mainstay on the underground scene around Europe and beyond.

As a DJ, Burnski aims to mix the old with the new, is still a passionate vinyl hoarder and spends plenty of time digging deep for sounds and styles a mile away from the ordinary: if he didn’t, he wouldn’t be able to boast regular gigs at places like DC10 in Ibiza, Fabric in London, Rex Club in Paris and Watergate in Berlin, all of which find him weaving together tracks that make you want to dance as well as making you feel something deep down inside.

In the wake of early, standout career hits, Burnski is now crafting darker, more stripped back and rawer output. Today, we premiere Burnski's hypnotic interpretation of DJ Honesty's 'Schillerkiez', featuring a low-slung groove and added vocal to the already infectious synth hook.

Christopher Ledger & Soms brought us a 74 mins music podcast with their unique and special touch. Somewhere between elegance, melancholia and yearning a silver lining of hope.

These two italian guys met up back in the 2014 in the wonderful city of Milan where Soms had just graduated at SAE while Christopher was studying music programmation (Max/MSP) and history and philosophy of music and art in a specialized institution.

Being both multidisciplinary artists and once having introduced each other to their approach and vision on art, the connection was instantaneous and kept growing in a very natural way as time passed.

Their collaboration goes on since several months and after different audio results, file exchanges and long talks on their visions and interests, they feel ready to put out their works anytime soon, releasing music mostly together but keeping their single artistic names.

Christopher Ledger’s close to perfection sound acts as a hook for all refined ears of the underground electronic music. 
The multidisciplinary artist’s background runs deep: his technical skills are built on classical composition study and his artistic calling can be felt in the mesmerizing emotional touch that can be felt throughout explorations. “Lost With K” sky-rocketed his name to fame and Christopher quickly started a solid foundation in the scene by launching his own label, “CL Series”, as well as other collaborations for Animae LTD -  Clouds/Anastrofe and soon to be Metonimia with Teluric at Mayak.

And once again, you’ll get a record that sports a kaleidoscope of dance music from Uncanny Valley veterans and newcomers. This time with the emphasis on bright and positive timbres which can be associated with the colour yellow.
