She's Just A Baby is an unreleased track recorded in early 1981, most likely at Prince's Wayzata Home Studio, Wayzata, MN, USA. The track is a soft ballad with falsetto vocals. The lyrics point to the narrator's love for a young girl. It is likely the song refers to Prince's relationship with Susan Moonsie, who was only 16 at the time they began dating.
Prince worked on the track further in early 1991 at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA, and it was submitted for copyright on 18 March, 1991. It's possible that Prince revisited the track because of his burgeoning relationship with Mayte, who was 16 when they met the previous year. Prince ultimately used the same lyrical themes in The Morning Papers, recorded in early December, 1991.
During Prince: A Celebration in June, 2000, computer screens at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA, offered names of a selection of tracks which users could vote on for inclusion on Crystal Ball Volume II. She's Just A Baby was on the list of 22 tracks, but was not chosen by fans, although the project was ultimately abandoned. The track remains unreleased.

Prince Rogers Nelson (1958—2016) was an American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, dancer, actor, and filmmaker. A guitar virtuoso known for his multi genre-crossing work, mastery of several instruments, wide singing range encompassing falsetto and baritone techniques, and flamboyant stage appearances, Prince is regarded as one of the greatest musicians of all time. His innovative music integrated a large variety of styles, including funk, rock, R&B, new wave, soul, psychedelia, dance, hip hop, jazz and pop.

Prince sold over 130 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time. He won seven Grammy Awards, seven Brit Awards, six American Music Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, an Academy Award, and a Golden Globe Award. In 2016, he was posthumously honored with a Doctor of Humane Letters by the University of Minnesota. Rolling Stone ranked him at No. 27 on its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. 

According to Acclaimed Music, he is the 10th most celebrated artist in popular music history. Simon Reynolds called him a "pop polymath, flitting between funkadelia, acid rock, deep soul, schmaltz—often within the same song". AllMusic wrote that, "With each album he released, Prince showed remarkable stylistic growth and musical diversity, constantly experimenting with different sounds, textures, and genres ... no other contemporary artist blended so many diverse styles into a cohesive whole." 

Journalist Nik Cohn described him as "rock's greatest ever natural talent". His singing abilities encompassed a wide range from falsetto to baritone and rapid, seemingly effortless shifts of register. Prince was also renowned as a multi-instrumentalist. He is considered a guitar virtuoso and a master of drums, percussion, bass, keyboards, and synthesizer. On his first five albums, he played nearly all the instruments, including 27 instruments on his debut album, among them various types of bass, keyboards and synthesizers.

Many artists have drawn inspiration from Prince, including Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Usher, Kanye West, Janelle Monáe, The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Lenny Kravitz, Andre 3000, Frank Ocean, Anderson Paak, Tame Impala, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Nick Jonas and Ween.
