This has several different tones and textures that I wanted to explore. My overall interpretation of Airborne was the idea of hope. It's my belief that we wouldn't be able to recognize the good if we didn't experience the bad. I really tried to show this contrast of light and dark. I also wouldn't consider this an all encompassing song, it's more of a music diary than anything. I wanted to try and stick with organic sounds and sort of morph them into something that isn't organic. I think by doing that you create a certain type of tension that is more on the subconscious.
