Les bocaux canopes sont des urnes, souvent avec des bouchons minutieusement sculptés, utilisés dans le processus de momification de l'Égypte ancienne - la signification précise dans le contexte de ce prélude est inconnue. Pour ma part j'y entends un hommage à Erik Satie.

I wrote this song back in early December.  I have sat on it since then trying to decide if I liked it enough to publish it.  I am still not sure if it deserves the light of day.  I like the chorus.  But the verse doesn't have the quality feel I desire.  Let me know.  Should I have tossed this song?

Chorale Etude: an Experiment in Structure

An experiment in structure formed by a 34 bar chorale harmonised mainly by major chords organised into sequences obeying fibonacci and lucas series in duration time. The structure is tripartite consisting of fragments of the chorale theme with repetition and variation followed by a statemant of the full chorale theme and finishing with a return to the first section fragmentation with a short coda.
