Today we bring you not one but two DJ's into our Hula-Loop! First up is none other than Sheffield's own DV8! Born in Nottinghamshire and mixing in Sheffield, DV8 has built up his reputation from his djing ability and from his co-founded event Hotwire! DV8's main style of music is playing minimal full of glitchy and atmospheric elements as well as pushing the boundaries into other genres being fluent in what he mixes. Further into his music career, he is now producing minimal songs including his EP which will be released in March so make sure to keep an eye out for the name! We hope you enjoy his mix!

Hula-Loop .009 - DV8

Second for tonights mix series entry is Ku:ro! This Leeds based DJ curates sets ranging from nu-disco, chug, EBM and italo. He co-manages Material alongside OB putting on nights in venues around the city. He’s played in multiple venues in Leeds (Wire, Distrikt, Hifi, The Old Red Bus Station, Sheaf St, A Bar Below and LS6 Cafe), and also played at The Mash House in Edinburgh. He’s also played alongside Skatebard and warmed up for: Burnski, Alex T and many others as guests of his 212 residency. 2020 will see him sinking his teeth further into production whilst playing regularly around the city.

Next up to our mix series is SKITS! A trio of DJ's based in Newcastle mixing the likes of tech-house and hard tech. Recently emerging onto the scene, SKITS started due to their passion for the music and the scene! DJ's from the likes of PAWSA, Elliot Adamson and Bryan Kessler inspire their mixes and sets to give them their edge. We hope you enjoy the mix!
