You are Ascending to an ancient, esoteric, and magical realm where mother nature is the keeper of lost secrets. As I depart for my final year of undergraduate college, I also depart from my beloved game "Sable", having finished the main storyline. It was a tear-jerker moment for me, and this song tried to capture that feeling.

To me this track gave off a bleak "end-of-the-world" type vibe, but in a futuristic way. It is a cyberpunk ending for the world as we know it. I particularly like the low-phaser drone that hums along throughout most of the song - I feel it embodies the cyberpunk-eschaton feeling I was going for. But for every end there is a new beginning. These poor souls on this desolate futuristic wasteland are soon to stumble upon spiritual gold and ascend to a new dimension with untold treasures and beauty - that is if they are worthy...

Cyber Ascent

I made this track after a didge sesh where we got high and played some didgeridoo. I felt like I realized the dualistic nature of myself that night. I both wanted to connect with the people around me while also feeling so distant from them and not wanting to. There is a large part of me that is scared to connect with others, and this part is often unveiled from my subconscious during a trip or a ganja sesh. I almost felt like I had to cut off their very souls from my own to stay in my little bubble of safety. It was not altogether fun. On the other hand I had to figure out how to drive home. That was a trip in-and-of-itself. During the walk back to my car and the car drive I was having intense realizations of self, and god. I was in a story with Fortunate Son playing in the background. I felt like I was in a movie. But I knew that god was on my side - and that it would be a happy ending. I am too much in my head. I don't live in my body really. I am just floating through the ether, lost. This song I suppose tries to sum these feelings up. It's both very happy and very sad and very epic all at the same time. I feel like I was feeling many many different feelings at once last night during this adventure. I feel like crying sometimes because I feel so desolate, alone, and isolated but I also feel inadequate so I push people away. I don't feel like I deserve happiness or friends right now and that's a hard pill to swallow. I don't know how to love myself. I don't know how to love others. I don't know how to do self-generation. I don't know how to do circular breathing - yet. This was what I was working on during the didge sesh. I realized that the didgeridoo is the perfect instrument of self love and self generation because you have to put so much effort into it to keep it going. You are essentially putting in effort to manifesting the present moment in the self and the self in the present moment. This is an incredible skill that had me realizing many a great things. My thoughts were my worst enemy on this night. I was thinking sexual things about the reasons I was playing the didgeridoo and who I was with and everything turned perverted - Yuck! This perverted side of me really scares me. I don't know what it is exactly and there are deep layers of it and its relations buried in my subconscious. I also made myself god/prayed to god in that moment during my high escapade with soul friends as a defense mechanism. You get what you give. Trust in God; if all else fails - pray to him, and he will guide you the way - to self healing and balance.
