In 2011, I was artist in residence at Montsalvat, Australia. I was awarded the popular choice award in the music category of the Qantas Spirit of Youth Awards (2012) and was a finalist in Melbourne's Music Bank (2013). As an anthropologist I have studied the music and dance of other cultures and conducted fieldwork in Indonesia (2007-2008), Brazil (2009), India (2012) and Vietnam (2014).
