Formed in 1992 as an over-hyped vanity project, Raw Information quickly redefined the no-hit-wonder category with their experimental, yet barely listenable, 4-song collection "Information Overload".  Released on cassette in 1992, it is widely believed that more than 10 copies were produced and distributed - though only 2 copies are known to exist today.

Following many long years of persistent inactivity and ever-present rumors of a new album, Raw Information's original lineup has finally confirmed plans for the release of their new studio-only project "30 Years of Static".  Even if it is never completed, “30 Years of Static” will likely be remembered as the boldest and most inventive undertaking in the band's skeletal discography.
