"Sonder" is a four track EP I've worked on for 4 months. I got the inspiration for the project after I returned home from District X festival in September 2024. Because it was a one day festival, I experienced such a wide variety of emotions in such a short space of time. I tried to capture these emotions in this project, with each track giving a different energy and feeling. The concept was to hopefully bring the listener on the same Journey I was brought on that day, from the nervous excitement of the journey to the festival, to the peak moments when you're in the thick of it, to the crash on the way home. These are the days you never forget. The meaning of the word "Sonder" is the realisation that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own, populated with their own ambitions and their own troubles. I was overwhelmed with this feeling on that day.
