“Under Downin” and above the covers a line of young-folk, fiercely drunk, excited and uncertain about the upcoming events of their long and hazy night appears to the trained eye of a 3rd person spectator. Inside, only two protagonists enjoy a preliminary calm, playing each other their favorite tunes, relaxing before the events of the night unfold. An organ-bass-heavy slow wave of air fills the empty halls, slithering hihats, a damped clap and a grossly distorted vocoder-esque voice is calling out your name. LUXXURY (aka LA producer Blake Robin) is ready to start summer early this year with his new pool party friendly daytime disco jam 'I Need Somebody.’ A ground-up reworking of his previous single, 'Somebody Tonight' (also included on the new EP), the track dials down the sick, slap n pop bassline of its sister song, while revisiting Robin's  yearning falsetto vocal with a bouncy house beat and an infectiously chill bassline to underscore the beach friendly 70s Rhodes and Wurli keyboards and dubbed out synths.

Sometimes there’s a huge talent out there and you desperately want the whole universe to discover it. That’s pretty much the story of parisian label Chuwanaga with young french artist Koji Ono, composer and producer of these four precisely crafted gems, recording everything by himself. Brilliantly mixed by Greita from Disques Flegon, his first EP Incognito is the product of a lot of influences, from Metro Area vibes to the original Britfunk sound. With an inner sense of elegance in the arrangements - something we may link to his japanese heritage ? - the whole EP brings musicality back on the dancefloor. We believe this could be the beginning of a great story for this talented musician, Koji Ono emerging from the incognito shadow to the whole light of the world. Don’t miss out !
