We’re kicking off the new year with a bang!
In November ’24, Boris Brejcha released his electrifying track "Kick It". Soon after, chess talent and techno artist Andrea Botez was inspired to create a remix. With the help of buskuwi (Alice Efe), a darker, more powerful version was born, adding even more depth and punch to the original.
Andrea Botez isn’t just a gifted chess player; she’s also making waves in the techno scene, recently playing at Berlin’s Ritter Butzke, where the "Kick It" music video was filmed. A close friend of Fckng Serious, she perfectly balances Fckng and Serious with her passion for chess by day and her skills behind the decks by night.
Look out for the remix at the end of January on all platforms, with an exclusive extended mix on Beatport.

The inspiration struck on New Year’s Eve 2024—during a tense and unforgettable moment at the roulette table. That night, Boris and his friends were reminded that luck doesn’t always play fair. What ended without harm could’ve easily taken a darker turn. And that exact tension is what “16 Red Even” captures so powerfully.
Musically, the track is unmistakably Boris: a haunting lead melody, a steadily building arrangement, and that punchy kick paired with a rolling bassline. It’s already a crowd favorite at his live shows—and just as gripping for late-night drives or headphones.
This release holds a special place in Boris’s heart. We’re celebrating a Fckng decade! German techno label Fckng Serious is turning 10 this August - and to mark the occasion, we’re releasing a very special EP unlike anything the label has done before.

We had some fun and let the dice decide: our “Compilation Dice Roll” created three unique pairings and three brand-new tracks that couldn’t be more Fckng Serious. Back in 2015, Boris Brejcha had a vision: to build a label where music is released exactly how the artist wants - no compromises. Over time, the roster grew: Moritz joined in 2020, Frieder & Jakob in 2023, and in 2024, Julian Wassermann started releasing exclusively with the label. Fckng Serious has never been about one genre - it represents a broad range of electronic music.
Fun has always been the top priority. It’s not just about the sound - the crew energy is at the core. Over the last ten years, the label has grown into a major player with global releases, unique events, and its own merchandise line for fans around the world.
