This mix is a musical interpretation of emotional and spiritual change that continues to evolve and bestow upon us. Welcome to the 94th Episode of the Soulfrica Vibecast! This is a special edition dedicated to my favorite African Music artist Fela Kuti! For those unfamiliar, Fela was a Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, bandleader, composer and political activist. He is the pioneer of the Afrobeat in-which combines traditional Yoruba & Funk / Jazz. His influence in what we hear today in many forms of music including Afrohouse is immeasurable! I dug deep into my 45's collection and whipped up some Fela tributes as-well as Nigerian Funk-Jazz treats and I build it up with some Afro / Brazilian Vibations.

This episode entitled: "The Afro Experience" is a historic reminder how important it is to recognize the foundational influences, structure & sound is in today's music.
